Job summary

Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel is seeking a friendly, professional server to deliver engaging guest service in a fast-paced dining environment. You will manage your section, take orders, and process payments using Micros while maintaining cleanliness and a warm atmosphere.

The role requires excellent communication, a neat appearance, and the ability to stay composed during busy periods. A flexible schedule and willingness to work varied shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior service experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Micros and POS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the assigned section throughout shift.
• Greet and acknowledge guests within one minute of seating.
• Serve all tables satisfactorily during peak hours and high-demand periods.
• Utilize proper tray service; carry safely and place on tray jack.
• Maintain knowledge of service procedures, menus, Micros operations, and seating chart.
• Engage in suggestive sales techniques as appropriate.
• Take payments from guests using Micros system.
• Perform daily side work and maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas.
• Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
