Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Five or more years of coaching experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of softball and experience coaching, playing, training or developing softball athletes.
• Demonstrated ability to teach and develop student-athletes in the technical, tactical and physical aspects of softball.
• Experience with student-athletes in a competitive athletic environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to the University.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in developing a NCAA Division I softball program for student-athletes, within NCAA and Conference guidelines.
• Assist in the training and development of team/players on and off the field; liaison for academics and other campus departments.
• Assist with travel arrangements and ordering of softball equipment.
