Memorial Hermann Health System seeks a Cytology Technologist to join our Southwest team. Schedule: M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No weekends. Benefits eligible. Responsible for preparation and accurate evaluation of specimens for microscopic examination and for assisting pathologists in fine needle aspirations.

The role emphasizes safe patient care, adherence to policies, and supporting department goals through ongoing education and collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

• CT (ASCP) Registry or eligible for registry within one year.

Responsabilités

• Performs and evaluates cytologic test results with quality control and instrument maintenance.
• Assists in fine needle aspiration procedures and cytology specimen processing.
• Ensures safe care to patients and staff; adheres to Memorial Hermann policies and standards.
• Promotes professional growth; may serve as preceptor and mentor to staff.
• Models Memorial Hermann service standards by delivering compassionate, personalized experiences.
• Other duties as assigned.
