Qualifications

• Must qualify as a Cytotechnologist under CLIA 88.
• ASCP certification required (or other approved agency certification/ASCP equivalent).
• ASCP Proficiency test in Cytology must be passed within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Microscopically examine cellular samples from various body sites and render final cytologic interpretations for gynecologic samples; perform preliminary interpretations for non-gynecologic samples; conduct quality control checks; assist in teaching and research.
