Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join our high-volume laboratory. Prepare, process and screen cytology specimens, ensuring quality and accuracy.

The role requires ASCP CT or SCT certification or eligibility, at least one year of laboratory experience, and strong attention to detail, dexterity, and communication. Supervisory experience is a plus, and computer familiarity is beneficial.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Must be a registered Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP) or SCT (ASCP) or certification eligible applicants must pass examination within eighteen (18) months after hire.
• One (1) year laboratory experience as a Cytology Technologist or have previous laboratory supervisory experience.
• Attention to detail, good physical dexterity, and good written and oral communication skills.

PREFERRED

• Computer keyboard and information system experience.
