Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Cytology Technologist to join our skilled lab team in Georgia. The role focuses on preparing, processing and screening cytology specimens with attention to accuracy and patient safety.

Qualified candidates must be ASCP CT or SCT registered or eligible and pass within 18 months. At least 1 year of lab experience or supervisory work is preferred, with strong communication and dexterity.

Qualifications

• Must be registered Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP) or SCT (ASCP) or certification eligible; must pass exam within 18 months after hire.
• At least 1 year laboratory experience as a Cytology Technologist or prior supervisory experience.
• Strong attention to detail, dexterity, and written/oral communication skills.

REQUIRED

• Must be a registered Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP) or SCT (ASCP) or certification eligible applicants must pass examination within eighteen (18) months after hire.
• One (1) year laboratory experience as a Cytology Technologist or have previous laboratory supervisory experience.
• Attention to detail, good physical dexterity, and good written and oral communication skills.

PREFERRED

• Computer keyboard and information system experience.

Work Hours:

7am -3:30pm
