Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Cytology Technologist to prepare, process and screen cytology specimens, ensuring accurate and timely results within a busy laboratory environment.

Eligible candidates must hold, or be eligible for, Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP) or SCT (ASCP) certification with exam completion within 18 months of hire; one year of cytology lab experience (or supervisory experience) is preferred, along with strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Certification as Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP) or SCT (ASCP) or eligible and must pass examination within eighteen (18) months after hire.
• At least 1 year laboratory experience as a Cytology Technologist or supervisory experience.
• Attention to detail, good physical dexterity, and good written and oral communication skills.
