Job summary

China Lake Golf Course is seeking a Training Specialist to lead DoD certification efforts and design comprehensive CYP training programs. You will work with CYP Directors and assistants to ensure scheduled learning opportunities and resources support career progression.

You will maintain training records, guide ongoing education for staff, and liaise with colleges and organizations to foster professional development. A strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading DoD certification and accreditation processes.
• Ability to design and deliver comprehensive training for youth program staff.
• Strong focus on evaluating learning needs and tailoring curricula.

Responsibilities

• Lead in achieving and maintaining DoD certification and accreditation.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver a comprehensive CYP training program.
• Identify training needs and tailor plans to learners' strengths and gaps.
• Coordinate with CYP Directors to plan training opportunities and resources.
• Ensure DoD standardized courses are completed and documented.
• Provide training to CYP staff on safety, fire, and sanitation rules.
• Maintain training records and development plans and report status to supervisors.
• Encourage continuing education and assist tuition support for CYP employees.
• Build relationships with local colleges and professional organizations for development.
• Assist FCC Director and FCC Monitors to promote accreditation where applicable.
