Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness seeks a CYP Training and Curriculum Specialist to deliver comprehensive training for CYP professionals and to support implementation of developmentally appropriate curricula for children and youth aged 6 weeks to 18 years. The role promotes school readiness and ongoing school success.

The specialist will work with CYP Directors to plan and schedule employee and provider training, execute DoN standardized modules, and document training status while

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child and youth programs, their development, and accreditation criteria.
• Ability to independently manage a developmentally appropriate program.
• Experience training adult learners and applying adult learning techniques.

Responsabilités

• Orients new employees to the CYP system and applicable information.
• Establishes training plans and schedules for employee and provider training.
• Executes DoN standardized training and supports career progression.
• Maintains training records and prepares status reports for supervisors.
• Develops programs to encourage continuing education and college-level courses.

Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
