Job summary

Navy Region Southwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a Custodian to perform cleaning, housekeeping, and semi-skilled tasks across CYP facilities. Responsibilities include facility cleaning, equipment maintenance, and delivery of supplies between CYP sites.

The role requires adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines, ability to move furniture, and occasional event setup. Strong English communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete required training certificates, and maintain certifications or credentials required by Federal, State, and/or national accreditation institutions.
• Undergo pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Pass a pre-employment physical, provide evidence of immunization, be free of all communicable diseases, and obtain appropriate immunization against communicable diseases.
• Employment contingent upon proof of education if not provided at time of application.
• Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
• Must meet federal suitability requirements including successful completion of background investigation.

Responsibilities

• All custodial and housekeeping services will be performed according to the established specifications.
• The CYP custodian has responsibilities related to cleaning and to the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• May be required to move, set-up and/or rearrange furniture, as well as set-up and break-down for special events.
• Responsible for complying with security, fire and sanitation rules, policies, procedures, and regulations.
