Job summary

The Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a Custodian to support Child and Youth Programs by performing a range of semiskilled labor and cleaning tasks in CDCs, SACs, and youth spaces.

You will operate cleaning equipment, maintain supplies, and ensure safe, sanitary environments while complying with DoD and local regulations. This role requires physical endurance, background checks, and reliable teamwork to support program operations.

Qualifications

• Must pass background checks for child care positions, including fingerprint checks and state checks.
• Ability to sustain walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial and housekeeping services for CYP facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, classrooms, and common areas according to specifications.
• Operate and maintain powered cleaning equipment and manage supplies.
• Assist with setup and breakdown for special events and deliveries.
