Job summary

Sharpsville Container Corporation is seeking dependable production operators for its Cylinder Products Group. This on-site, first-shift position runs 5:00AM to 1:30PM with a starting pay of $14.52 per hour, and involves preparing materials, operating equipment and welding gear, inspecting work, and maintaining records.

In this hands-on role you will follow detailed instructions, uphold safety standards, and contribute to daily production goals while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Dependable attendance and commitment to safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete basic paperwork.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn multiple production operations.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, drawings, and production instructions to understand job requirements.
• Gather, inspect, prepare, and position materials and components for production.
• Operate assigned manufacturing equipment, hand tools, gauges, and fixtures after training.
• Perform in-process visual and basic dimensional inspections; report defects or quality concerns.
• Complete production, inspection, and material-tracking documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and established manufacturing practices.
• Maintain clean, orderly equipment and work areas and support daily production goals.
