Welders Supply & Gases in Louisville, KY is seeking a dependable Production Operator to safely fill, inspect, label, and prepare compressed gas cylinders for delivery.

This hands-on role offers on-site training, a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, and a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a locally operated plant.

Previous compressed gas experience is helpful but not required; candidates should be ready to learn and contribute to a steady, quality-driven operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous production, manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, welding-supply, or industrial experience is helpful but not required.
• Excellent attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely fill high-pressure gas cylinders and liquid containers per safety procedures.
• Inspect returned cylinders for dents, cracks, or damaged components.
• Label, document, and prepare cylinders for shipment.
• Load/unload cylinders from vehicles and pallets.
• Move and position cylinders using carts and equipment.
• Maintain accurate quality-control records and monitor inventory levels.
