Airgas is hiring a Production Operator for the 2nd shift in Henderson, CO. You will fill high‑pressure cylinders using compression temperature/pressure methods and operate related equipment, ensuring quality inspections and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Ability to read and comprehend all written and computer generated documents.
• Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to perform very heavy work – routinely lifts 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lifts 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Fill high‑pressure cylinders (Industrial, Medical and Mixes) to proper pressure/weight.
• Collaboratively operate and care for pumping or repackaging equipment.
• Support pre-fill and post-fill inspections and tests before cylinders are released.
• Ensure cylinders are maintained and remove for repair if needed.
• Inspect pumping apparatus and pressure gauges and monitoring devices.
• Maintain accurate filling records and follow all procedures per regulations.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks/trailers as required.
• Support inventory, housekeeping and customer service as needed.
