Job summary

Equinox is seeking Cycling Instructors for Bethesda, MD, to deliver the Equinox experience and educate members through our Cycle Pro program. After completing training, instructors will lead classes, ensure on-time starts, and assist with bike-related technical support to enhance each member’s workout.

The role requires current cycling certification, CPR/AED, and knowledge of anatomy and ACSM guidelines. A friendly, outgoing attitude and willingness to grow professionally are essential for

Qualifications

• Current cycling certification required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy, kinesiology, ACSM guidelines for frequency, intensity, duration, and mode.
• Willing to learn and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox experience to members in each class.
• Adhere to class descriptions and adjust intensity as needed.
• Ensure classes start and end on time.
• Assist members with technical/bike-related questions to maximize experience.
• Teach regularly with minimal substitutions.
• Maintain a schedule with 2–5 classes and availability in early morning, evenings, and/or weekends.
• Communicate with Group Fitness Managers on feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and substitutions.
