Job summary
Equinox's Dallas locations are seeking Cycling Instructors. We offer a 7-week paid mentorship program, Equinox Cycle Pro, that prepares instructors for success in the lane that suits them best; in some cases, you can bypass the mentorship and begin teaching immediately.
The Cycle Pro Program includes sessions, online training, and a final audition. After completion, there is a final audition for the instructor role with responsibilities including delivering the Equinox Experience, modulating
Qualifications
- Must possess a current cycling certification; Schwinn or Stages certifications recommended.
- Must possess and maintain CPR/AED certification.
- Must be well-versed in anatomy, kinesiology and exercise guidelines.
- Eagerness to learn and pursue ongoing professional development.
- Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the Equinox Experience to members in each class.
- Adhere to class descriptions and modify intensity as needed.
- Continuously monitor exercise intensity during the class.
- Ensure classes start and end on time.
- Assist members with bike setup and technical support.
- Teach classes regularly and minimize substitutions.
- Coordinate with the Group Fitness Manager on feedback and scheduling.
