Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cycle Counter to calibrate and verify inventory accuracy across warehouse pick lines and storage locations. You will count locations, confirm packing and pricing data, and reconcile discrepancies to support reorder decisions.

The role includes RF equipment operation and daily cycle counts, with emphasis on safety and productivity. You should have forklift/Cherry Picker experience, warehouse exposure, and math-focused education.

Qualifications

• Forklift/Cherry Picker experience required.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior work experience dealing with inventory or numbers preferred.
• Educational background with satisfactory results in math; post high school education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counts each pick line and storage location for items in the cycle count work queue.
• Verifies packing, retail price, and description for items being cycle counted.
• Researches and reconciles all findings daily.
• Troubleshoots inventory problems and reports issues to area supervisor.
• Adjusts inventory data when necessary.
• Completes SBCC and system scheduled counts daily.
• Performs ESS sampling and counts with external auditor.
• Operates radio frequency units and resolves RF issues.
• Maintains safety, quality and productivity standards.
