Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cycle Counter Lead to join our distribution center in Florida. You will count items, verify packing, retail price and descriptions, and reconcile discrepancies daily.

You will operate radio frequency units, run weekly counts, generate velocity and item integrity reports, and coordinate with the Allocations Department to ensure smooth freight flow. Forklift/MUOP license is preferred; prior inventory or data experience is helpful; strong math, analytics, and

Qualifications

• Forklift/MUOP license preferred.
• Experience in automated retail distribution preferred.
• Prior experience dealing with inventory or numbers preferred.
• Educational background with satisfactory results in math; post high school education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count items and verify packing, retail price and description in the cycle count queue.
• Research and reconcile findings daily; troubleshoot inventory issues.
• Adjust inventory data and maintain safety, quality and productivity standards.
• Generate velocity and item integrity reports; coordinate with Allocations on freight flow.
• Operate radio frequency units and support cycle counting processes.
• Communicate with the Allocations Department to ensure smooth pallet and freight flow.
