Job summary

Siemens Wendell, NC is seeking a Cycle Count Team Lead to manage inventory accuracy, lead quarterly counts, and support warehouse, production, engineering, and customer service in locating and transferring materials.

The role requires 5+ years in warehouse inventory control, SAP and RF scanner familiarity, plus forklift operation. The shift runs 6:00 am–2:30 pm with an hourly rate of $24.79, in a hands-on team environment at our Wendell facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment with inventory control.
• 3+ years of forklift operation experience.
• Experience with SAP system, RF scanners and MS Office.
• Ability to lift parts or sub-assemblies up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Basic English reading, writing, and speaking proficiency.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and direct quarterly cycle counts on-time within inventory guidelines.
• Operate manual and powered sit-down/stand-up trucks common to material handling.
• Communicate with buyers, planners, and production to resolve inventory issues.
• Utilize SAP and Electronica to look up parts and conduct cycle counts.
• Enforce 5S, 7 wastes, and lean principles in the team/area.
• Know Siemens part numbers, SAP locations, and key areas.

We are looking for a Cycle Count Team Lead to join our team. This position will be based at our Wendell, NC facility.

The Team Lead will lead the Cycle Count Team to maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and inventory adjustments. The Cycle Counter Group Leader will also assist the Warehouse, Production, Engineering and Customer Service in locating and transferring materials.

Shift Hours

6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Hourly Rate:

$24.79

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, including inventory control processes
• 3+ years of forklift operation experience
• Experience with SAP system. RF Scanner devices and MS Office applications
• Able to lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Basic English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Forklift certified or able to obtain this certification
• +5S/6S
• +Problem solving (A3, 8D, etc)

• Operate tools and equipment common to the material handling trade (e.g. manual and powered sit-down and stand-up industrial trucks).
• Communicate with buyers, planners, and production areas to resolve inventory issues.
• Utilizes SAP & Electronica to look up parts and conduct cycle counts.
• Enforce 5S, 7 Wastes and other lean principles in the team / area.
• Have knowledge of Siemens part numbers, SAP locations, and key areas.
