Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Cycle Count Team Lead for our Wendell, NC facility. The role supervises the Cycle Count Team to maintain inventory accuracy and supports Warehouse, Production, Engineering, and Customer Service in locating materials. Shift is 6:00 am - 2:30 pm with an hourly rate of $24.79.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in warehouse inventory control, 3+ years forklift operation, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office. This is a fully on-site position at the Wendell site.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy.

We are looking for a Cycle Count Team Lead to join our team. This position will be based at our Wendell, NC facility.

The Team Lead will lead the Cycle Count Team to maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and inventory adjustments. The Cycle Counter Group Leader will also assist the Warehouse, Production, Engineering and Customer Service in locating and transferring materials.

Shift Hours

6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Hourly Rate

$24.79

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, including inventory control processes
• 3+ years of forklift operation experience
• Experience with SAP system. RF Scanner devices and MS Office applications
• Able to lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Basic English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

• +5S/6S
• +Problem solving (A3, 8D, etc)

You’ll make an impact by

• Conduct and direct quarterly cycle counts on-time and within the scope of inventory guidelines.
• Operate tools and equipment common to the material handling trade (e.g. manual and powered sit-down and stand-up industrial trucks).
• Communicate with buyers, planners, and production areas to resolve inventory issues.
• Utilizes SAP & Electronica to look up parts and conduct cycle counts.
• Enforce 5S, 7 Wastes and other lean principles in the team / area.
• Have knowledge of Siemens part numbers, SAP locations, and key areas.
