Job summary

Siemens in Knightdale, NC is seeking a Material Handler Level 2 to support efficient material flow, receiving, shipping, storage, picking, and inventory in a high-traffic environment.

The role requires 4+ years in material management and forklift/stand-up equipment experience, SAP familiarity, and lifting up to 50 lbs; RF scanners and MS Office skills are desirable. Shift 6:00am–2:30pm; hourly rate $20.36.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in material management (warehousing).
• 4+ years of experience driving a forklift, order picker and stand up.
• 2+ years of experience with packing and crating.
• 1+ years of experience with cranes.
• Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with SAP system
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating stand-up reach trucks, stand-up order pickers, and sit-down forklifts in high-traffic areas and narrow aisles; inspecting equipment daily.
• Unloading, receiving, counting, and verifying incoming production materials, recording data in SAP.
• Picking materials for internal and external customers using RF scanners with count accuracy.
• Performing daily cycle counts and efficiently packing and shipping materials damage-free.
• Adhering to safety rules, following established processes, and seeking improvement opportunities.
• Strong attention to detail while meeting deadlines
• Working as a great teammate and completing other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

We are looking for a Material Handler Level 2 to join our team. This position will be based at Knightdale, NC.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials, including receiving, shipping, storage, picking, delivery, and inventory management.
