Job summary

Amcor is seeking an inventory control professional to manage raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for blow mold production in a manufacturing environment. You will enter receipts in SAP, maintain accuracy, and perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliation to ensure SOX-compliant reporting.

The role requires familiarity with SAP, MII, and Excel, as well as the ability to work overtime as needed and hold a forklift license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Ability to recognize and understand numbers; accurately entering information into an online database.
• Ability to visually and mentally make priority decisions/judgment calls based on the situation.
• Proficient hand-eye coordination to operate equipment and assemble packaging for shipment.
• Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Abides by all Amcor Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
• Enter receipt of raw materials and packaging supplies in the plant via SAP, properly documents and stores materials for use, and maintains raw material storage area in an orderly fashion.
• Maintain inventory of raw/packaging materials and finished goods for blow mold production.
• Cycle count all inventory in the warehouse(s) including raw materials, finished materials, and packaging supplies.
• Audit electronic transactions in inventory control locator system.
• Reconcile material usage variances and consumption transactions.
• Reconcile and identify source(s) of discrepancies found in inventory and report them to the Materials Manager.
• Identify and communicate potential problems areas (e.g., labeling, packaging, storage) to the Materials Manager.
