Job summary

Gestamp is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage the inventory program for Plant 1 and Plant 2. The role involves performing physical inventories, updating SAP, cycle counts, ABC analysis, and supporting production with label issues and receiving processes.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing, SAP MM/SD experience, and forklift certification, with strong English communication and the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing environments (tier 1 or 2).
• 2+ years supporting SAP (MM, SD).
• SAP manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of logistics and manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Certified forklift.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventories and update SAP.
• Document movements within SAP in a timely manner.
• Perform full inventory including cycle counts and ABC analysis.
• Monitor Production Declaration and captor.
• Assist production with label issues.
• Analyze movement of parts and location per user.
• Incoming goods validation.
• Assist with receiving errors and adjustments with manager approval.
• Assist with annual physical inventory.
• Maintain excellence with production closures.
• Assist in GSS.
• Backup for materials department associates if needed.
• Handle specialist projects setup by the manager or supervisor.
• Be a team player and promote a positive environment.
