Job summary

UNIS is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Waddell, AZ to ensure accurate, traceable, and audit-ready inventory for our 3PL operations. You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain reliable warehouse records to support customer service and operational efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with WMS, RF scanning, and cycle counting, plus Excel and MS Teams usage. Overtime/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of WMS, RF scanning, cycle counting, and inventory research.
• Understanding FIFO/FEFO, lot/serial tracking, inventory status, and customer compliance requirements.
• Ability to use Excel, warehouse reports, mobile devices, dashboards, and MS Teams.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety, OSHA standards, SOPs; overtime/weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts, location audits, recounts, and item, lot, and serial validations.
• Reconcile physical inventory with WMS records; document results and support adjustments.
• Investigate variances across receiving, picking, replenishment, shipping, and inventory movements.
• Validate FIFO/FEFO, inventory status, holds, and customer-specific requirements; maintain audit-ready records.
• Partner with warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and prevent repeat errors.
