Job summary

UNIS is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Waddell, AZ to maintain accurate, auditable inventory for 3PL operations. You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance while supporting warehouse teams.

Ideal candidates have a GED or high school diploma, knowledge of WMS and RF scanning, and proficiency with Excel and MS Teams. OT availability may be required to support operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of WMS, RF scanning, cycle counting, and inventory research.
• Understanding of FIFO/FEFO, lot/serial tracking, inventory status, and customer compliance requirements.
• Ability to use Excel, warehouse reports, mobile devices, dashboards, and Microsoft Teams.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety, OSHA standards, SOPs, and 5S; availability for overtime, weekends, or after-hours support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts, location audits, recounts, and item, lot, and serial validations.
• Reconcile physical inventory with WMS records; document results and support approved adjustment requests.
• Investigate variances across receiving, picking, replenishment, shipping, and inventory movements.
• Validate FIFO/FEFO, inventory status, holds, and customer-specific requirements; maintain audit-ready records.
• Partner with warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies, escape risks promptly, and prevent repeat errors.
