Job summary

UNIS is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist in Waddell, AZ to ensure accurate, traceable, and audit-ready inventory for efficient 3PL operations. The role involves cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and maintaining reliable warehouse records.

You will work with WMS, RF scanning, FIFO/FEFO, and Excel-based reporting, supporting customer requirements and internal controls. Excellent teamwork and overtime flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of WMS, RF scanning, cycle counting, and inventory research.
• Understanding of FIFO/FEFO, lot/serial tracking, inventory status, and customer compliance requirements.
• Ability to use Excel, warehouse reports, mobile devices, dashboards, and Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts, location audits, recounts, and item, lot, and serial validations.
• Reconcile physical inventory with WMS records; document results and support approved adjustment requests.
• Investigate variances across receiving, picking, replenishment, shipping, and inventory movements.
• Validate FIFO/FEFO, inventory status, holds, and customer-specific requirements; maintain audit-ready records.
• Partner with warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies, elevate risks promptly, and prevent repeat errors.
