Job summary

Sysco is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate in an on-site Virginia facility. The role focuses on accurate cycle counting, adjustments in the Warehouse Management System, and maintaining data integrity at item and location levels.

You will collaborate with the Inventory Control Manager and Warehouse Ops Director to monitor product conditions, locations, and shelf life while adhering to safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Intermediate math and proficient computer skills incl. MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly cycle counts to ensure accuracy of perpetual inventory.
• Make cycle count adjustments in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Communicate potential inventory losses (expiration, temp issues) to supervisor.
• Retrieve, research and put away stray product; process outbound returns, donations, recalls, and salvages as needed.
• Ensure MHE safety, perform daily inspections, and report repairs or service needs.
