Job summary

Sysco in United States (Virginia) is seeking a warehouse Inventory Control associate to perform cycle counts and adjustments to maintain perpetual inventory accuracy. You will handle product locations, lot tracking, and condition issues while ensuring safety and productivity.

The role requires operating MHE, following food safety and company policies, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED (or related experience), be at least 18, and

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must pass a physical assessment.
Must have intermediate math and proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have a strong attention to detail.
High school diploma or GED preferred or one year warehouse related experience.

Responsibilities

Perform quarterly cycle counting of inventory to ensure accuracy of perpetual inventory.
Make accurate cycle count adjustments in the WMS as required.
Communicate information for potential loss of inventory to management to ensure timely action.
Correct mis-located products and document with an incident packet.
Research Lost Pallet Reports and input adjustments in WMS.
Retrieve, research and put away stray product.
Pull, process, load and complete outbound returns and recalls as required.
Review OS&D forms for accuracy and approve them after verification.
Retrieve shelf life and lot data and communicate when needed.
Work with supervisor to minimize warehouse shrink and maintain neat work area.
