Job summary

National Center for Missing & Exploited Children seeks an Analyst 1, Notice Tracking to support the CyberTipline and global URL initiative. You will monitor activity, review URL lists, and generate reports on timelines for notices of sexually abusive material.

Interaction with ESPs, law enforcement, and NGOs is required. Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and at least one year of experience, with strong Internet skills and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Criminal Justice or related discipline required.
  • Strong understanding of Internet concepts and protocols is preferred.
  • One+ year work experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor CyberTipline activity and analyze URLs with apparent child sexual abuse material.
  • Review the URL List daily and generate notifications to ESPs.
  • Coordinate with international NGOs and law enforcement as needed.
  • Produce statistical analyses and reports on notifications and timeframes.
  • Support global notification efforts for the CyberTipline and URL Initiative.
  • Review CyberTipline reports for identified children and context tagging.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; interact professionally.
