Job summary

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children seeks a detail-oriented Support Specialist to assist the CyberTipline program. You will triage reports, coordinate with law enforcement, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and discretion when handling sensitive content, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional evening/weekend flexibility. Travel may be necessary for conferences and training.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred with two years of professional experience; can be substituted by a bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience.
• Ability to review call recordings and conduct background research to reduce child exploitation.
• Experience handling sensitive material with confidentiality and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Review call recordings and conduct initial background research on CyberTipline leads to aid in reducing child sexual exploitation.
• Review and triage incoming CyberTipline emails; coordinate entry of reports and TA requests; route to appropriate team.
• Review and triage CyberTipline reports; conduct deconfliction searches and route to law enforcement per policy.
• Communicate with reporting parties via email and phone to obtain report-related information.
• Communicate with law enforcement and other NCMEC divisions regarding requests for Technical Assistance.
• Assist team leaders with workload distribution, daily tasks, and weekly reporting.
