Job summary

Serco is seeking a Cyber Operations Analyst Trainer to join our CJT team in Suffolk, VA, supporting the Joint Staff J7. You will train, observe, and provide feedback during joint and multinational exercises, sharing best practices to enhance readiness and response capabilities.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, U.S. citizenship, a bachelor's degree or higher, and 5 years of joint operational experience or related certifications.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 5 years of joint operational experience or equivalent training/certifications.
• Understanding of joint operational planning and decision cycles.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
• On-site work in Suffolk, Virginia.
• Strong written and oral communication for official training docs.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME and trainer in cyberspace operations across joint and multinational exercises.
• Integrate into the DTLD Fires and Effects Section and provide continuity.
• Serve on Deployable Training Teams observing and training leaders and staffs.
• Identify challenges and develop best practices and lessons learned.
• Research strategic documents, exercises, and real-world operations.
• Analyze staff processes to align planning with guidance.
• Mentor Observer Trainers and contribute to continuity.
• Produce after-action reports and lessons learned inputs.
• Contribute to doctrine development and senior-level seminars.
