Job summary

Serco is seeking a Cyber Operations Analyst Trainer to join our CJT team in support of JS J7 DD JTE in Suffolk, VA. The role focuses on observing, training, and providing feedback to Joint Force Commanders and staffs during joint and multinational exercises. Required is an active TS/SCI clearance, U.S.

citizenship, a bachelor’s degree, and at least 5 years of joint operational experience or related training. Travel up to 25% and on-site work in Virginia are expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoW Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 5 years of joint operational experience or equivalent training/certifications.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% and possess a valid U.S. Passport.
• On-site work in Suffolk, Virginia; strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME and trainer in cyberspace operations across joint and multinational environments.
• Integrate into and support DTLD Fires and Effects Section.
• Serve on Deployable Training Teams observing and training leadership during exercises.
• Identify command challenges and develop best practices and lessons learned.
• Research strategic documents and real-world operations; analyze staff processes.
• Mentor new Observer Trainers and contribute to continuity within DTLD.
• Produce after-action reports and joint lessons learned inputs.
• Contribute to doctrine development and facilitate senior-level seminars.
