Job summary

Leidos Intelligence Sector seeks highly qualified Cyberspace Operational Planners to support DoD Joint Planning processes underpinning USCYBERCOM operations. On-site contract support to J3 (Operations), CNMF, and JTF-ARES is expected, with emphasis on CO planning, targeting, and detailed staff work.

Your role includes developing OPFORs and implementing CO plans, aligning resources with organizational goals, and communicating actionable insights to leadership. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Polygraph required.
• BA/BS degree within STEM field, Security Studies, or related field, or must complete within one year of hire.
• 4+ years recent CO Planner experience; waivers possible for Combat Mission Team service or JFHQ-C planner roles.
• Familiarity with military operations, planning phases, JP 5-0, and cyber operations concepts.
• Formal Cyber Operational Planner training within DoD or IC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage in approved plans development and staffing within collaborative environment.
• Support targeting selection, validation, synchronization, and integration during Cyber Warfare activities.
• Draft and staff Operational Plans (OPLANS), Operational Orders (OPORDS), and FRAGOs.
• Develop Cyberspace capabilities into plans and coordinate with OPG/OPT teams.
• Create concepts of support, courses of action, and document comprehensive plans.
• Provide situational awareness across projects and current operations activities.
