Darktrace is seeking smart, coachable teammates to join the Sales Development Academy in Charlotte, NC. This is an Expression of Interest for opportunities on our Sales Development team.

In this role you will attend courses to learn cyber security 101, Cold Calling 101, and Sales Development 101, helping you establish the skills needed to grow Darktrace's business. The position is hybrid, with 3 days in the office, and you will reach out to potential customers to promote our AI security

Qualifications

• Strong execution of sales plays.
• Confident and well versed in cold calling and handling objections.
• Ability to analyze and map territories using account data.
• Create Territory Plans and weekly execution.
• Proficient with sales tools (Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
• Ability to build strong relationships with collaborating teams.
• Visible leader driving adoption of new initiatives and quotas.

Responsibilities

• Engage with new prospective customers and represent Darktrace across your region.
• Identify key decision makers while developing and qualifying new opportunities via cold calling and events.
• Articulate the value proposition and show how it improves the customer’s information security.
• Earn trust and develop relationships with senior executives across the organization.
• Meet targets and work with Marketing and Sales on campaigns.
• Maintain relationships with Account Executives to support growth.
• Consistently achieve quarterly and annual KPIs.
• Book meetings at customer sites and at trade shows.
• Write concise emails to highlight Darktrace capabilities.
