Job summary

Guardian invites current sophomores or juniors to join the 2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Digital & Technology - Cybersecurity. This paid 10-week program places you in a thriving global financial services environment to work on real projects, engage with senior leaders, and build practical cybersecurity skills.

Locations include Bethlehem, PA; New York, NY; and Holmdel, NJ. Internship runs May 27, 2027–August 6, 2027, with rolling applications and a closing date of November 13, 2026.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a related bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Interest in cybersecurity domains and governance
• Desire to analyze anomalies and learn quickly
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events from SOC sources (SIEM, tickets, email, chat, phone)
• Provide tier-1 operational and analysis support for incidents and outages
• Assist with governance, policy maintenance, and remediation tracking
• Learn Guardian's cybersecurity framework and contribute to threat detection workloads
• Collaborate with teams to ensure availability and security of systems
