Job summary

Guardian invites current undergraduates pursuing Software Development, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering to join a 10-week Summer Internship in 2027. You will engage in real business projects, interact with leaders, and gain hands-on experience deploying enterprise cloud solutions.

Locations include Bethlehem, PA and Holmdel, NJ, with a rolling application review and a May 27–Aug 6, 2027 internship window.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts & principles.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or Infrastructure as Code languages.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Willingness to collaborate with a broad range of subject matter experts across the organization.
• Curiosity and the ability to research/drill down into complex technical problems and arrive at potential solutions.
• Passion for learning and innovation.

2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Digital & Technology - Cloud & DevOps

Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices. This 10-week internship provides you with realistic experiences and information of what it is like to work at Guardian.

For all roles, teams are assigned mid-spring. Doing so offers the ability to assign program participants to real-time, business-critical needs.

Internship Dates:

The internship program will run from Thursday, May 27, 2027- Friday, August 6, 2027.

You are:

A current junior (graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028) or current sophomore (graduation date of December 2028 or May 2029) who is fueled by collaboration, able to listen and make quick decisions and thrive in a goal-oriented environment.

Currently pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.
