Guardian Life is offering a paid 10-week Summer Internship in Digital & Technology - Cybersecurity across offices including Bethlehem, PA and New York, NY. Interns will gain hands-on experience, work on real security projects, and interact with senior leaders in a thriving financial services environment.

You are a current junior or sophomore eager to learn detections, incident response, governance, and collaboration in a fast-paced team.

• Interest in cybersecurity governance and compliance activities, including documenting processes, supporting risk assessments, tracking remediation actions, developing metrics, control monitoring, and assisting with compliance activities

Responsabilidades

• Monitor & analyze events from various SOC intake sources (SIEM, ticketing system, email, chat, phone), conducting initial event discovery, triage, and response as per SOP, and apply modern threat landscape knowledge across multiple channels.
• Provide tier one operational & analysis support for technologies including SIEM, Firewalls, Endpoint, DLP, and Application Security.
• Monitor & analyze security dashboards and process corresponding events.
• Collaborate with teammates and other tech groups to resolve internal security issues per policy.
• Perform daily security technology administration tasks.
• Support governance and compliance activities, including risk assessments, metrics, and remediation follow-up.
