You will research prospective customers, support outreach, and help build a qualified sales pipeline. No prior cybersecurity or sales experience is required; curiosity and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Interest in technology sales, software security, or business development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to ask thoughtful questions and listen carefully.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort learning new tools and working with documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Ability to take initiative, collaborate with others, and apply feedback.
• Availability to work the agreed internship schedule.

Responsibilities

• Research target accounts, relevant contacts, and business needs using approved tools and publicly available information.
• Support personalized email, phone, and professional networking outreach under the guidance of the sales team.
• Help qualify inbound leads and schedule introductory meetings for sales representatives.
• Maintain accurate account records, activity notes, and follow-up tasks in the CRM system.
• Assist with meeting preparation, presentations, and customer follow-up materials.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, events, and lead follow-up.
• Learn the company’s software security offerings and communicate their business value using approved messaging.
• Track outreach activity and share progress, questions, and insights with your manager.
• Follow company policies for responsible outreach and handling customer and prospect information.
