Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Sr Project Manager to lead cybersecurity initiatives across Security Operations and related teams in a hybrid Fort Mill or Austin setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience in cybersecurity, with strong Agile/Kanban, and advanced Jira/Confluence skills. You will drive dependencies, reporting, and governance to ensure timely delivery of complex programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project or program management experience, preferably in cybersecurity or technology organizations.
• Experience managing security operations, vulnerability management, infrastructure security, or related initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and dependencies simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within PMO/EPMO governance frameworks.
• Self-starter who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cybersecurity initiatives across Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Infrastructure Security, and Offensive Security teams.
• Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables for successful execution.
• Partner with leadership and technical teams to drive alignment and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams.
• Maintain project visibility and reporting through Jira, Confluence, and governance processes.
• Ensure initiatives adhere to organizational PM standards and reporting requirements.
• Facilitate collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Track milestones, action items, and program metrics for informed decision-making.
• Support Agile and Kanban delivery practices with focus on workflow management and progress.
• Proactively manage risks and impediments with mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate executive stakeholder readouts with clear progress updates.
