Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Manager, Cyber Security Product Owner to drive the Cryptographic Services roadmap within the Data Protection domain. You will translate vision into delivery objectives, guide cross-functional teams, and leverage cryptography, PKI, and cloud expertise to deliver secure, scalable cyber capabilities.

You will lead backlog refinement, define epics and user stories, and ensure alignment with business goals while managing risk and delivering measurable security outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity or information technology.
• 4+ years evaluating, contributing to, or supporting cybersecurity capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate the delivery roadmap to technology teams and inspire the team with the product vision.
• Articulate target persona, customer benefit, and value of features across teams.
• Translate engineering knowledge into practical guidance to support delivery of features.
• Represent voice of the customer on cryptographic domains, PKI, and data protection in public cloud.
• Collaborate with Product Manager, Engineering, and Solution Architects to break down epics and write acceptance criteria.
