Job summary

Capital One seeks a technical security product leader to deliver game-changing cybersecurity solutions across threat, data, and design thinking. You will drive risk-based roadmaps with engineering partners, analyze tradeoffs, and guide executive decisions to enable the business with secure, scalable products.

You will manage backlogs, define initiatives with robust acceptance criteria, and mentor teams while maintaining credibility across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or IT.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology.
• 4+ years evaluating, contributing to, or supporting development of cybersecurity capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate risk-based, data-driven security roadmaps with engineering and operations partners.
• Lead product backlog grooming and translate vision into detailed initiatives with clear acceptance criteria.
• Advise executives on risk grounded in threat, and facilitate build vs. buy decisions.
• Establish product value propositions, metrics, and key indicators.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead teams across the enterprise to scale security services.
