Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Product Owner to drive Cryptographic Services in the Data Protection domain, translating strategy into delivery for cyber products. You will collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders to shape features, manage backlogs, and deliver secure, scalable solutions across public cloud environments.

You will apply design thinking, analytics, and threat-informed prioritization to advance security, resilience, and performance metrics while participating in Agile/SAFe

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology.
• 4+ years evaluating, contributing to, or supporting cybersecurity capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate the delivery roadmap to technology teams via the product vision.
• Articulate target personas, customer benefits, and feature value across teams.
• Guide engineering teams using deep cybersecurity and systems knowledge.
• Collaborate with Product Manager, Engineering and Solution Architects on epics and stories.
• Lead backlog refinement and ensure clear acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize backlog to maximize business and customer outcomes while managing risk.
