Job summary

Anthropic, a San Francisco‑based AI safety company, seeks a leader to own the cybersecurity product strategy. You will guide what we build, where we partner, and how we scale, while serving as the company’s voice with CISOs, vendors, researchers, and policy teams.

This role touches many teams and shapes security across the organization. You will partner with research to pinpoint model security gaps, drive 0→1 product development, and scale successful capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping security-focused products or platforms.
• Strong product judgment and technical depth to interpret findings.
• Ability to communicate security concepts to CISOs, researchers, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Set cybersecurity product portfolio strategy and be accountable for results.
• Ship security products including vulnerability discovery and remediation.
• Represent Anthropic on security externally to CISOs, vendors, researchers, governments, and press.
• Partner with research to improve model security tasks.
• Collaborate with safeguards and policy on model access for cybersecurity.
• Keep cross-functional threads moving across research, engineering, sales, safeguards, policy, legal and communications.
