Job summary

Scale AI is seeking a Senior AI Product Manager to own Scale’s Cybersecurity portfolio, shaping data, environments, and evaluation suites used to train and measure security capabilities in frontier AI models.

The role is a build position: define strategy and standards for a product line that does not exist yet, collaborating with ML researchers and security practitioners while coordinating with Security, Legal and Policy to ensure responsible development.

Qualifications

• Real cybersecurity work, including vulnerability research, fuzzing and crash triage, reproducer development, patch/root-cause analysis, exploit development, malware analysis, red teaming, detector engineering or incident response.
• 5+ years in product management, technical program management, consulting, or customer-facing technical roles with product ownership focus.
• Working view of AI-for-security evaluation landscape and where it falls short: CyberGym, Cybench, CVE-Bench, BountyBench, CyberSecEval.

Responsibilities

• Own roadmap and strategy for Scale’s Cybersecurity portfolio end-to-end, from task taxonomy to pricing and external release.
• Define capability map: vulnerability discovery, repro, patch generation, regression safety, secure code review, supply-chain analysis, malware and binary analysis, detection engineering, incident triage.
• Collaborate with ML researchers and security practitioners on task specs, grader design, verifiable rewards and grounded verification.
• Drive infrastructure roadmap: reproducible vulnerability images, fuzzing, sandboxed execution, network-segmented ranges, automated verification, scalable sourcing pipelines.
• Establish governance for data quality, contamination prevention, license/IP hygiene, reproducibility and release management.
• Recruit and steward a contributor network of vulnerability researchers, exploit developers, malware analysts, detection engineers and incident responders.
