Job summary

TUV SUD America is seeking a results-driven lead auditor to manage complex, multi-site certification audits and to help build a high-impact sustainability product portfolio in Seattle. You will guide onboarding, qualification, and resourcing for auditors while monitoring performance and driving process improvements.

The role requires 5+ years of third-party audit experience, 3+ years of people leadership, and strong knowledge of ISO/cybersecurity certification bodies.

Qualifications

• Third-party Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 27001, ISO 27701, TISAX, or equivalent cybersecurity program.
• Minimum 5 years of experience performing 3rd-party certification audits across complex, multi-site orgs.
• At least 3 years of people-leadership experience with direct reports or technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of certification body processes, accreditation rules, and standards in the product line.
• Ability to translate market and customer needs into product strategy and growth actions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct management system audits with ~50% audit utilization target.
• Support onboarding, qualification, and resourcing of auditors for sustainability portfolio.
• Monitor auditor performance, rejection rates, and quality indicators; take corrective actions.
• Coordinate pre- and post-audit activities with Operations Manager.
• Provide technical training and contribute to knowledge-management tools and docs.
• Develop and implement product portfolio strategy aligned with global/regional goals.
• Coordinate sales and marketing activities for sustainability services.
