Job summary

Thales Group in Belgium seeks a dynamic Technical Presales Engineer to strengthen our position in the Belgian and Dutch markets. You will act as a technical advisor, listening to client needs and translating them into robust cybersecurity solutions, then converting those solutions into commercial offers using internal tools.

The role requires strong presentation skills, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a capability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced cybersecurity

Qualifications

Proven experience in either pre-sales or cybersecurity.
Passion for IT; a technical background is considered a plus.
Demonstrated ability to listen and present effectively in front of a client.
Ability to respect deadlines.
Effective handling of office tools.

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of the market landscape and client expectations.
Familiarize with regulatory standards (NIS2, DORA) and advise accordingly.
Act as a technical advisor and translate client needs into cybersecurity solutions.
Transform solutions into concrete commercial offers using internal tools.
Explain complex tech concepts to non-technical audiences.
Cultivate relationships with vendors, partners, and authorities.
Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen market position and work within a virtual team.
