Job summary

Prodata Systems in Belgium is seeking a security consultant to join a team serving customers mainly in Belgium with travel abroad possible. You'll design, implement and support security-based solutions for diverse projects.

You will discover and test new solutions, participate in trainings, build architectures, perform audits, deliver product demonstrations, and provide pre-sales technical support. Strong knowledge of networking, security governance, and identity management is required.

Qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of Ethernet and TCP/IP and core network services (DHCP, IPAM, DNS).
• Solid experience in perimeter security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, penetration testing).
• High experience in content security (anti-malware, web security software/appliances, URL filtering, content inspection).
• Strong skills on Identity Management technologies.
• Knowledge of security management solutions (UTM, SIEM, audit).
• Experience in Security governance and regulations.

Job Summary

You will work as part of a team of consultants based in Zaventem and will work for customers who are mainly based in Belgium. Occasional travels abroad could be required depending on the ongoing projects. The scope of the job will include, but will not be limited to the design, the implementation and the support of Security based solutions.

Job Description

• Discover and test new solutions, components or features
• Participate in trainings and obtain the required certifications
• Build architectures and designs based on customers’ requirements
• Perform audits and suggest improvements
• Provide technical product presentations and demonstrations
• Elaborate, implement and maintain customized solutions to meet customers’ needs
• Provide pre-sales technical support
• Keep up to date on new technologies, standards and evolutions
• Run technical product trainings
• Provide support for customer product evaluations
• Resolve incidents and problems raised by the customer and escalate to providers if needed
• Participate in projects and coordinate activities
• Document customers’ infrastructures and implementation details
• Knowledge, skills and experience

Required

• Solid working knowledge of Ethernet and network protocols such as TCP/IP, as well as the network core services (DHCP, IPAM, DNS)
