Meriplex is seeking a cybersecurity operations specialist to support customers by triaging security incidents, configuring security settings, and handling investigations. You will document activities, generate shift reports, and troubleshoot security appliances as part of a busy security operations environment.

You will apply cybersecurity and privacy principles across the organization, interpret data from security tools, and leverage your knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux, plus

Qualifications

• Handle customer requests including security configurations, reporting requests, investigations, and all error/issue identification.
• Maintain accurate records of triage activities, generate shift reports, and contribute to incident summaries for audits.
• Provide troubleshooting of security applications and appliances.
• Apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements.
• Interpret information collected by security tools.
• Understand how information travels.
• Customer service skills.
• Familiar with proxy and web content filtering tools.
• Basic programming skills are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus but not required.
• Familiar with scripting languages such as bash, powershell, python, KQL preferred but not required.
• Well-rounded technical knowledge in Windows, Mac, Linux OS.
• Experience system administration and/or network infrastructure is a plus.
• Security+, Network+, CySA+, ISC2 SSCP
