Job summary

Accenture’s Cybersecurity practice seeks a seasoned leader to manage complex information security engagements for electric, gas, and water utilities in California. You will guide IT/OT security programs, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and drive resilient security outcomes across client environments.

The role emphasizes risk management, compliance with NERC CIP and other standards, and collaboration with business and IT stakeholders to modernize grids and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of work experience designing, developing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity solutions across IT/OT domains.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team in a Security Account lead role.
• Minimum of 3 years delivering cybersecurity solutions for electric, gas, or water utilities.
• Experience with Utility Industry cybersecurity frameworks (NERC CIP, NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, DOE C2M2).
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (12 years).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to align security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cybersecurity assessments, strategy workstreams, and implementation activities across enterprise IT and OT environments.
• Lead teams and coordinate delivery across IT, OT/ICS, cloud, substations, and field systems.
• Develop scalable cybersecurity strategies supporting grid modernization, cloud adoption, and energy transition.
• Provide client-ready status reports and recommendations to Accenture stakeholders.
