URM Stores, Inc. in Spokane, WA is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to lead a hands-on security engineering program, oversee incident response, vulnerability management, and governance, and drive the maturation of URM’s cybersecurity posture.

The role partners with Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Architect and various teams to align security controls with business objectives, balancing technical work with leadership and program growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a cybersecurity-related field.
• 7+ years of progressive cybersecurity/security engineering experience.
• 2+ years of technical leadership or people-management experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing and operating enterprise cybersecurity technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity operations and engineering, overseeing daily operations and ongoing improvements.
• Develop and lead the Security Engineering team with clear ownership and standards.
• Provide technical leadership across the cybersecurity environment including endpoints, networks, IAM, and cloud security.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to integrate security into enterprise tech and architecture.
• Establish and maintain security standards, runbooks, and documentation for repeatable operations.
• Oversee governance, risk, and compliance activities including incident response and audits.
